The Pillow

Today, in my never-ending laundry quest, I managed to get Zachary's pillowcase off his pillow to attemp to wash/dry it before his nap time this afternoon (because heaven-forbid all is not as it should be for nap time: 3 puppies, blankie, blanket just so, pillow flipped to the right side...). As I took his pillow out and flipped it over to put it back on the bed, this is what I saw.




Now in light of some of my past posts, what do you think this could be? And how long do you think that it


a) has been since I washed his pillowcase? (Note: there are no stains on the pillowcase at all)

b) took me to throw that pillow out in the nearest trash can?

I don't even really want to know. Really.
