32 Things about me

Here's a little question/answer time one of my friends sent me recently - different questions than the ordinary "hey, a little about me" so I thought I would post it. :)

1. Can you cook? I believe so. My husband has survived (and gained...and lost weight) to this point in our marriage. :) If not, I apologize if I have brought a meal to you and you were forced to eat it...

2. What was your dream growing up? to be a teacher...and work for the FBI...and be a lawyer...but I wimped out on the FBI academy - too much physical work!! ha ha - could also explain my current severe lack of muscle tone in the general abdomen area

3. What talent do you wish you had? I wish I could roll my tongue - and yes, I know it's genetic, but I am still practicing (what if I just never knew I could and didn't practice til now?)- literally in front of the mirror. Laurianna coaches me on it.

4. Favorite place? snuggled in bed on a nice cool night

5. Favorite vegetable? zucchini

6. What was the last book you read? from cover to cover...some novel...Grace in Thine Eyes by Liz Curtis Higgs

7. What zodiac sign are u ? blah, blah, blah

8. Any Tattoos and/or Piercings? ears, twice...tattoos are only in my dreams. i truly think Rick would fall over if I got a tattoo.

9. Worst Habit? picking my nails. I don't bite, just pick, pick, pick...

10. How do we know each other? well, you are visiting my blog, so you tell me...

11. What is your favorite sport? in person - ummmmm...not a super sports fan. more a social person. so....football. to sleep to? really any sport will do. :)

12. Negative or Optimistic attitude? generally optimistic, but it can go downhill fast

13. What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator with me? probably talk your ear off (if we were alone)

14. Worst thing to ever happen to you? embarrassing wise? hmmm...that would be when my sweatpants literally fell down in gym class. in front of everyone. boys and girls. as if life weren't awkward enough.

15. Tell me one weird fact about you. weird - yeah, I'm blanking on this one. anyone? anyone? bueller?

16. Do have any pets? well, if you count my dad's dog, yes. if you don't no.

17. Do u know how to do the macarana? i'd like to pretend I do. but it escapes me at the moment.

18. What time is it where u are now? 10:36pm - past my bedtime, but yet here I am blogging

19. Do you think clowns are cute or scary? cute I suppose in a overly made up kind of way

20. If you could change one thing about how you look, what would it be? get that good ol' jelly belly in shape - and again with the exercise....sigh

21. Would you be my crime partner or my conscience? your conscience - unless it was really something sneaky fun - then definitely a partner.

22. What color eyes do you have? brown

23. Ever been arrested? came close, but nope

24. Bottle or Draft? something more in the "umbrella" category please

25. If you won $10,000 dollars today, what would you do with it? put it in our emergency fund so we would be that much closer to building (but I might be convinced to spend a little bit too!)

26. What kind of bubble gum do you prefer to chew? i don't - that way my kids don't ask and then I don't have to worry about where or when I might find gum. My life is exciting enough that I don't need to add that aspect at this point.

27. What 's your favorite bar to hang at? Uh...yeah. I couldn't even begin to tell you where one around us is - never mind I am soooo over that stage of life, thankfully. :)

28. Do you believe in ghosts? the Holy Ghost :)

29. Favorite thing to d o in your spare time? sit peacefully with a cup of coffee and just read, or meander on the internet...hey - look! just like now!!

30. Do you swear a lot? only in my head. Thankfully not out loud (especially in front of my little repeaters).

31. Biggest pet peeve? dumb drivers (I'm just remembering someone today...)

32. In one word, how would you describe yourself? funny-giving (see if you hyphenate it, it's still counting as one word, right?).

  1. Love it.
Yes. I would agree you can cook. Hence the fact that you always have homemade bread in the heaven when I come over. Which is often.

Did you know that I was getting "all set" to do the FBI when I met Jet?!! I had even called and talked to the recruiter people.

I'm determined to come up with a "weird fact" about you. Just give me time. Especially after we room together at the retreat...I'll use my almost-FBI skills and sniff one out. ;)

    You're adorable!
