I Might Not Be Able to Type Tomorrow

I fell off of Jillian's Shred wagon.

There, I said it.

I had all the best intentions of getting in my exercise and whipping this post-baby body into some serious shape. I was doing so well. {No, really I was!}. I pushed myself. Finally quit nearly passing out during the workout session.

And then I pulled a muscle. Not while I was working out, mind you. I pulled something in my back from hanging up curtains.

Who knew housework could be so horrific?

But today is a new day. Today I will begin and put the 30 Day Shred to the test to see if 30 days really can make a difference. Unfortunately I haven't forgotten that first time I tried to follow along with Jillian and could barely sit down for 3 days without wanting to cry.

Here I stand {or lay in a heap on the floor}. I'm back on the wagon again.

  2. Yay!!!! Cheering for you. I exercise pretty much every morning except Sunday, and I can tell you there's rarely a morning that I WANT to do it. It takes good ol' will power! Maybe it's called the strength of the Lord.

  7. you know what? i respect you even more now. admitting it and pressing on! that's a woman of character.

i was out for a LONG walk last night, and came in with a renewed vigor for exercising and eating better. i have a dream...or at least a goal now. i WILL lose the weight, and i WILL do it in a time frame that is suitable.

  8. You are challenging me. I soooo need to do something. Other than the obvious pain and the fact that nobody (okay, maybe a few unique individuals) really likes exercise, what do you think of the Shred? I'm thinking about trying it.
