It's Not Thursday, It's Friday

News Flash: a calendar/planner is only good if you actually USE it.

Here I thought my week was dragging by until I was laying in bed last night and realized {with some amount of panic} that the next day was going to be Friday...and there were things I thought I had an extra day to do that needed to be done - oh, yesterday.

That planner of mine hasn't been cracked open much at all this week {okay, once to be honest} and I've somehow gotten sucked into a vortex of doing...well, I'm not sure what I've been doing other than...

~ Keeping the kids occupied - check
~ Keeping up with laundry - check, check, check, check, check...
~ Running errands - check

It seems that we came back from vacation, had a flurry of activity with company, and my brain decided to stay on vacation and forgot to inform me about it

Of course, it might have been written in my planner, but I neglected to check on it.

  1. I haven't opened my planner in weeks and that's not like me. Something about the summer. I need a more efficient planner too. Well I hope you get all of your things done. Happy Friday.

  2. Story of my life in the summer! When my routine is out of whack everything is!

  3. I agree it seems like summer makes you lose track of the days....

  4. You don't have to tell me about the laundry. The baby creates an extra load for us to do each week. She was good last week though.

Anyhow, I feel like we sometimes need a vacation from our vacations...not that I've taken any lately. =p

    Have a great weekend.

  5. Ah some days are just like that. We just need to fill in as we go. I know I haven't put anything in mine for quite some time. I should but it's been time off for some time since it's summer!
