I'm really hoping that this picture shows how dedicated I am to cooking...and not anything contrary to that fact.![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg0uojUDDg9UGzdj_KkB_KCxbH14yzPaJZjRfLppyVDE1R-pky07OzUrluCBvqPGoVn0BZ_iYs9gban54cJTFVStqsqZDoGuvVH5d31VSYObR8wtya9Q4e7kp7iVs2EJUOz5yGV_WKNbTJv/s320/Burned+Recipe+Book+003.jpg)
Truly it shows that at times I get rather...ummm...distracted. By turning on the wrong burner and then wondering what-in-the-world-that-smell-is.
Oh, I had to laugh! My husband did the same thing to his favorite cookbook while we were dating. He didn't notice it quite as quickly as you did, though; his caught fire! He was able to get it put out and salvage the cookbook--and 12 years later, we still use it!
ReplyDeleteWow. That must have been some recipe, huh? ;-D
ReplyDeleteWould it make you feel better if I told you I once burned a pan?
Way to go, Jolanthe! I hope it WAS a good dinner!!:-)
ReplyDeleteLOL! Too funny. You'd think you had 4 kids to distract you or something.
