100 Prayers God Loves to Hear, 100 Praise Songs by Stephen Elkins is a wonderfully illustrated book with prayers that children can use throughout the day ~ from morning til night. The prayers have a short introduction or devotional showing how to practically apply prayer to everyday situations as well as quick quotes and prayer reminders. The introduction of the book also highlights ten verses that speak about prayer.

It also includes:

~ Biblical prayers from Scripture {David, Moses, Jesus}.

~ Inspirational prayers from Abraham Lincoln, Charles Wesley and others

~ Well-known prayers such as “Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep”

~ Two CDs with 100 praise songs that are referred to throughout the book.

My Thoughts

The book itself we are really enjoying to sit and read because the pictures really are cute and well done. We popped the CD in to listen to it one afternoon and the kids lost interest in the music about halfway through the first song. It is very much kid music, so if your child enjoys Wee Sing type music, this might be a hit in your house {but it wasn’t in ours}.

The book is available from Amazon for purchase {$15.59}.

  1. The book sounds like fun. The CDs sound like they wouldn't be a hit at our house either!
