Putting Pinterest to Work…

This post may contain affiliate or advertiser links. Read my full disclosure policy here.

Pinterest has become one of my favorite resources and ‘go-to’ places for getting ideas. The biggest bonus to me is the visual aspect ~ I can SEE an idea and check it out in more detail. I tend to remember images and Pinterest lets me sort things onto different virtual bulletin boards. My boards have everything from teaching ideas to organization ideas and things that just make me giggle.

BUT…as much as I love to ‘pin’ ideas all the time, it’s even nicer if I actually USE the ideas in my own house. In my mind I may be all organized, but it would be nice if some of the marvelous ideas actually transferred over to real life {and not my imagination}.

My goal is to try to do one thing a week this year from my Pinterest boards. That may be trying a new recipe, putting an organization tip to work in my house, using an idea during our school time…but following through on the things that catch my eye.

Here are a few things that I have planned to work on in the next few weeks ~ and I’m going to join up with a friend’s Pinterest challenge and share my success/failures with them and maybe even some ideas with you all.

If you aren’t on Pinterest already, leave a comment and I will send you an invite via email. And if you are ~ leave a comment with your Pinterest user name so that I can follow you as well. My user name is jolanthe {shocking, eh?}.
