Why I Hate Zhu-Zhu Pets

This post may contain affiliate or advertiser links. Read my full disclosure policy here.

It’s really rather simple, but it took all of 1 hour of the Zhu-Zhu pets being home to turn what could have been a lovely relationship…into something rather annoying.

IMG_8960And no, he’s not just whispering sweet nothings in her ear. By the time all was said and done, we had to have a little hair snipping.

I don’t care if they don’t poop, I’m not a fan.

  1. Oh, I am so sorry! Having it get caught in our daughter's hair has been my biggest fear!

  2. They seem to annoying and I'm glad my kids have never asked for them. I don't even think they know what they are, truthfully. :)And I hope it stays that way. Poor girl. Having to get your hair cut, after playing with a toy, is uite horrible. :(

  3. I don't like them either. Jamison's got lost and I was not sad at all. I'm sorry for the hair loss.

  5. My 6-year-old has 3 of them, and that's always worried me (especially since my 3-year-old wants to play with them too). The sticker plainly says to keep away from hair, but I can't be with the girls 100% of the time, reminding them to keep the things away from their hair, and my 3-year-old wouldn't listen to me if I did. They're busy playing with them anyway, not reading the stickers under them...I'll just have to hope this doesn't happen or else come up with a plan to let them play with them once a month under supervision, idk! :0

  8. We have 3 and it is the strangest thing. I bought one of the newer ones and it has a shut off when it is not level. My mom bought an older one and gave it to us for my son and it does not have an auto shutoff.
