Guilty Pleasures

The weather has been gorgeous today and after some time together this morning as a family, planting some fall mums {finally} and then baking some bread, I snuck out to the porch to enjoy a little fiction ~ Love’s First Bloom by Delia Parr.

So far, I’m liking it. :)

I also found a great period drama series from BBC that I am indulging in for 10 minute spurts when I get a chance ~ Lark Rise to Candleford. Have you ever heard of it? I saw season 3 on sale at Costco…but of course I have to start at the beginning!

Again, so far, I’m liking it.

What are YOUR guilty pleasures this weekend?

  1. Ooh--I guess that means I'll have to make a Costco trip as soon as I get paid again . . . I love Lark Rise to Candleford. And, yes, you definitely want to start at the beginning!

  4. I love Lark Rise to Candleford and for once we in the UK are ahead of you. It usually plays on Sunday nights in winter - perfect timing! I bought it for my sis-in-law who's moved to Canada too. Enjoy!

  5. We went to visit my inlaws and I took a two hour nap today with my 2 year old. It is so nice to have extra hands and eyes to help!
