My Mission for the Month…

Mission of the Month

My friend Jenn @ Mama Jenn has started hosting a “Mama’s Mission” where we can share a goal that we have for the month…and also our results at the end of the month. I know that I generally tend to do a lot better when I actually tell the whole wide world what I would like to do. It somehow motivates me to actually get myself into gear.

That said…this is my goal for the month: EXERCISE!

I’m pulling out my 30 Day Shred dvd with my good buddy Jillian. She’s missed me much {I just know she has}. 30 days is something that I think I can manage…especially now that you all will be eyeing me, right?

Do you have any grand plans for the month? If you need some ideas, check out Jenn’s September Mission post and maybe some of the other moms will give you a great idea. :)

  1. Eeep! I may need to join you - I think Jillian has been missing me too. ;) I can't say I have, but certain parts of my body have seen better days when they were meeting with Jillian every day! Good luck!

  2. good for you.....brady and i have been working out together with jillian's 30-day shred and are accountability to each other. if i don't feel like doing it he pushes me and vice-versa. :) it's been really great. we are doing it rather in more like 40 days then 30 only because there are just some exercises in level 2 we can't master quite well yet. so we've decided to hold out until we have it before going to level 3. we've both noticed significant differences in how we feel and how we look. so.......shred on my good friend.

  3. Good luck, I quit after day 15. One of the moves hurt my back and I was scared to do it again.

I've been doing Leslie Sansone walks though. They seem to be easier on my knees than other exercise DVDs.

  4. Good for you! I know I need to somehow fit exercise into my routine; I'm sure that's the only way these last 10 pounds are going to disappear - not to mention, the parts of my body that need to be firmed up! But I'm just not ready to dive in yet. I'll think about it...while I go eat some more M&Ms. :)

  5. Jillian is missing me and I am missing her too. I only got to use the program for a short while thanks to summer trips.
If I get an ok from my ob, I might start again. I wish you luck! And as Brady said..."shred on my good friend"!

  6. Oh my, I need to join you in this!!! But, I am afraid of Jillian! I love the show, but there is no way I would set foot in a gym with her...I don't even know if I could handle a DVD of her!!! LOL

    Thanks for joining in!!!
