Camping Wimps {yes, we are…}

We were supposed to be going camping this weekend. But we’re not.

The temperature is in the high 90’s and not promising to cool down much. Call me a wimp, but trying to sleep in a super-hot tent with a lovely chance of rain to boot just isn’t sounding like my idea of good times.

The friends we would have gone with would have been super-lovely. Perhaps we should have them over for dinner tomorrow night to make up for it????

  2. I just think it is funny to listen to your kids talk about camping. My oldest niece was telling me how you forgot the toaster and was totally serious about it. You had to rough it and toast bagels over a campfire. Then I heard you remembered the coffee maker but not all components.

    Do you stay at a spa?

  4. We go camping next week for a week. We are also canoeing and kayaking 4 rivers during the day. I am sure it will be hot. But, we will have to tough it out:) I am just praying there is no rain..... I have not camped like this in a tent since I was 9 except once for our anniversary once. Wish us luck. I'd much rather be in a cabin...shhhh don't tell :) Jenn
