I also like several of the other fiction authors you mentioned as well.<BR/><BR/>For some reason, I have the HARDEST time finishing a nonfiction book-- two pages in and I'm snoozing. To me, reading is for sheer pleasure. If it isn't entertaining then I don't like to read it-- except the Bible, because I know I can't live without reading it! I always tell my husband that I don't like reading anything that makes me smarter ;p I guess that isn't true because I have learned quite a bit from fiction-- my vocabulary definitely beats his-- and all he reads are philosophy and history books!New Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02092666784683670124noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3532908409154044407.post-17065551734541428722008-09-22T17:20:00.000-04:002008-09-22T17:20:00.000-04:00I will echo the praise for Grace-Based Parenting. ...I will echo the praise for Grace-Based Parenting. I would honestly move that one to the top of your 'child discipline' pile, it is well worth it. After that for those interested he has "Raising Kids for True Greatness", also a very good book (probably more so if you are past the early years and heading into the 8 and up ages).<BR/><BR/>I have the same problems with nonfiction books though; right now I have 'Siblings without Rivalry' sitting by my couch.
